The company was founded by two brothers, Georg and Johann Einfalt. It was based in Nuremberg, Germany. Technofix existed from 1922 to 1978. They produced various tin litho wind-up toys often made in Western Germany during the 1950s and 1960s.

The Monkees were an American pop band formed in Los Angeles in the mid-1960s. The band consisted of Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones, Michael Nesmith, and Peter Tork.
